Welcome to RenoCanvas. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RenoCanvas website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Murphy Software Labs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the organization.

RenoCanvas is a renovation project management platform that provides tools for:

• Organizing and tracking home renovation projects
• Uploading and storing project documents, photos, and files
• AI-powered quote extraction and comparison
• AI-powered room design visualization
• Budget tracking and financial management
• Vendor and contractor management
• Product selection tracking

The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.3 Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

RenoCanvas offers subscription-based access to the Service. Current pricing and plan details are available on our pricing page. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment Terms

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the subscription fee. Subscription fees are billed in advance on an annual basis.

4.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our support team.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect at the start of your next subscription period.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, submit, or create through the Service ("User Content"), including documents, photos, project data, and other materials.

5.2 License to Us

By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account.

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and share the content
• Your content does not violate any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights
• Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

5.4 Data Retention

We will retain your User Content for the duration of your subscription. Upon account termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days. After this period, we may delete your User Content.

6. AI Features and Generated Content

6.1 AI-Generated Content

The Service includes AI-powered features that generate content, including room design visualizations and extracted quote data. AI-generated content is provided for informational and visualization purposes only.

6.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. AI features may produce errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results. You should always verify AI-generated content before relying on it for decisions.

6.3 Quote Extraction

AI-powered quote extraction is designed to assist with data entry but may not perfectly capture all information from uploaded documents. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data.

6.4 Design Visualizations

AI-generated room designs are conceptual visualizations only. They do not constitute professional architectural, engineering, or interior design advice. Actual renovation results may differ significantly from visualizations.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use AI features to generate inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is owned by Murphy Software Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"RenoCanvas" and associated logos are trademarks of Murphy Software Labs. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

9. Disclaimers

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service

RenoCanvas does not provide professional construction, architectural, engineering, legal, or financial advice. Information provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only. Always consult qualified professionals for renovation decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MURPHY SOFTWARE LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Murphy Software Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees.
